Today we are frequently encouraged to “slow down, take it easy, find a balance and to just be happy because it could always be worse.” If you are hearing this in your circle or from the people around you everyday just know that this is a good sign that you are on your way to success.
As my great mentor Grant Cardone says: “success is not something that others can give me, nor is it something that the government or economy can provide to me.” The bottom-line is that no one is ever going to take care of your family or money. Not the Democrats or the Republicans, no one is going to “make things” work out for you. As far as I’m concerned, it’s pointless for people to worry about time management and balance.
The question they should be asking is “How can I have it all in abundance?” Successful people have attained the things they desire in quantities so great that no one thing can take them away. I personally am not interested in balance; I am interested in abundance in everything I do!
I have found that the people who are most concerned with balancing their lives are the ones who believe that there is never enough to go around. They don’t believe this way on purpose it is just how they have been raised or what they have learned from those around them. Unfortunately these are the same people who put limits on what is available to them and they never even stop themselves and ask why they believe that way. This is a flawed thinking that neither time management or balance will ever be able to fix.
An imbalance is always going to occur when you don’t do enough with the time you have. You need to work harder while you are in the office. Ask yourself in which areas you most want to achieve success in and in what quantities?
Remember any person who limits his or her potential success will limit what he or she will do to create it and keep it.
People always tell me to slow down and that I work too much. I hear this from agents on our final expense telesales platform and even from friends and family. But I have never been told by any of my mentors or anybody more successful then me to slow down.
As I look back over my life, I see that the one thing that was most consistent with any success I’ve achieved was that I always put forth 10 times the amount of activity that others did. To become the best at what you do, you will have to be out of balance, totally focused, obsessed and then follow it up with massive action.
It is unfortunate that people with obsession and fierce drive are categorized as off-balance, work- addicted, obsessive, and a whole litany of other labels. Extraordinary by definition means anything outside the realm of what most normal people can and do achieve.
Remember: Success is the degree or measure of attaining some desired object or end. Never seek balance, have it all! What good is the cake if you can’t eat it too?
If you are obsessed with success we want to talk to you about our awesome work from home Final Expense Telesales opportunity!
